Founder Steven Kirk, a Rubicon Bay native and North Tahoe High School graduate, brings deep local knowledge and years of hands-on construction experience to every project. Known for his quality workmanship, honest communication, and steady leadership, Steven combines craftsmanship with a practical understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities of building in the Sierra Nevada. His commitment to doing things the right way sets the tone for every project and every member of the Eagle Bear Construction team.

As Chief Operating Officer, Spencer Cuiper brings a steady, strategic, and highly organized approach to the overall operations of Eagle Bear Construction. Spencer oversees company workflow, resource management, and high-level project planning, ensuring that the business runs efficiently and consistently across all job sites. With a strong background in construction management and organizational systems, he helps align crews, schedules, budgeting, and long-term company goals. While Spencer remains committed to maintaining clear communication throughout the building process, his role is focused on supporting the entire operation—from internal processes to project oversight—to ensure Eagle Bear continues to deliver dependable, high-quality work.

Pat Mcateer
As Lead Foreman, Pat McAteer brings 40 years of building experience in the Tahoe region, delivering steady leadership and reliable expertise on every job site. Known for his calm, capable approach, Pat keeps crews coordinated, projects moving efficiently, and quality at the forefront. His hands-on experience and clear communication make him someone clients and teammates alike enjoy working with, ensuring each build is completed with care, precision, and professionalism.
